Why not do something different! More Americans are playing less and play more, while in Las Vegas. In response, the casinos of Las Vegas are giving less and charging more for food and attractions in the past in an effort to survive the current economic times. Here are some ways to tip the scales in your favor!
From my notes on "affordable" Las Vegas of 98 pages, we focus on the 'free' and 'cheap' instead. There is a way to have a major impact on almost anything if it goes a little in advance. And you can still find free stuff if you know where to look.
Showcase (The real thing has the money) - With a free show
Las Vegas has become one of the most important shopping destinations in the world. All shopping centers here are some of the most impressive shopping malls and luxury collections in Las Vegas, is open 7 days a week, have free parking nearby, and have completely different themes for a unique sensation. If shopping is your idea of ??having a great time, you can make your vacation complete all the variety in shopping centers.
As a bonus, some form of free entertainment to all. I have only listed seven of many shopping centers of Las Vegas, one for each day of the week, and they are all in the Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip. ) Included in the order of placement, the first is at the southern end of the strip, and the last is the center. There are several other major shopping centers in Las Vegas, and all the casinos in town seems to have a mini-mall at least. However, most of them only have what is expected in a mall in any city. Shopping centers and malls listed here offer a little something different to make the shopping experience a little more special.
Town Square (one mile south of Mandalay Bay)
Town Square has something for everyone and is one of the most family-friendly Las Vegas. Town Square Park is an ideal place for a picnic and includes an outdoor playground with a tree house of 2 floors, with a canopy of live entertainment, special events and concerts, and a labyrinth to explore. To survive the heat of summer, there are plenty of gentlemen, shade, and covered walkways.
The mall is a small town like in the atmosphere surrounding the park. The creative architecture (a blend of Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial styles) and the shops are organized by themes (children, adolescents, adults, etc.) Opened in 2009, this is one of the new malls in the city and comes with 3 garages for plenty of free covered parking. (Parking in the picturesque street in the mall is measured.) The selection of stores includes everything you expect in a mall and a grocery store with plenty to keep children occupied while you're browsing. There is also a modern 18-screen movie theater to enjoy the last show.
Besides the many restaurants, night life there. The Blue Martini and grape entertainment offering the service, and the House Patio has a great selection of beer and food to go with it. Town Square is only worth seeing, and is an easy way to get away from the avenue, not leaving Las Vegas Boulevard.
Hawaii Market (directly through the new CityCenter strip)
The market in Hawaii was modeled after the International Fair of Honolulu. This is an outdoor market style of a lush tropical island, lots of bright colors, such as shops and a kiosk. The main shops and kiosks in truck-specialize in souvenirs, a market canopy protects from the sun and misting fans to help ease the summer heat. There are several themed restaurants including an Asian buffet and a refreshment stand cold with ice cream and milkshakes.
The market in Hawaii is not a mall, imagine more like an oasis. Just south of Harmon Avenue and directly across the Strip, CityCenter, the market in Hawaii is within walking distance of at least 10 major casinos. And parking is available next to the market, or in the Polo Towers, which are directly behind the market.
There are free performances every day. The performers Island Luau on a show between 4 and 9 pm every day, and the Birdman of Las Vegas presents its exotic birds from Friday to Sunday from 1 to 3 pm
Crystals at CityCenter (between Bellagio and Monte Carlo on the Strip)
The Crystals is a luxury mall that opened in 2009 and looks like a park. Most stores are bigger and better than their counterparts elsewhere, and there are very few shops I do not think anywhere else in Las Vegas. From luxury shops are all in nature, such as Tiffany, is a very good thing that just looking is free. Even in a good economy, 95% of the U.S. population would not be able to afford such purchases.
In addition to fancy restaurants, Wolfgang Puck has a "grab and go" coffee (pods) to take some food to the park, which is itself an entertainment experience. Scattered throughout the park and mall are several "pocket" parks tucked into various corners, a pair of magnificent fountains, artwork, trees, flowers and benches. So it's not too hard to find your own private space to enjoy a little food.
Sources are not considered entertainment, but these two are exceptional and different. Halo is in the center of the mall, and is the only source that can walk through without getting wet. Imagine interconnected with illuminated glass tubes twist and turn Mini waterspouts at different angles, in competition with nature. Glacia is the entrance to the Strip, and may be the only source of solid water you've ever seen. 15 ice columns rising from a shallow pool at random in the carving process before having a chance to melt. Background music accompanies this ice sculpture garden growing variety of forms and transparencies.
Parking is limited and requires valet service, so I recommend using the street parking in the Hawaiian market, or using the tram that stops at the windows of the Bellagio or the Monte Carlo. Although Eva's nightclub is up, the only entertainment is free, unique sources, the art, the only park itself, and great shopping together sometimes walkways that go nowhere by design.
The Crystal Mall is unique as to warrant a visit just for the experience, and two sources outside the mall, and even in CityCenter, which is huge. Lumina is a source illuminated with neon bursts of dancing waters, and the Focus is a waterfall of 270 meters leading to several models. Both are next to ARIA Resort & Casino. CityCenter also features a collection of $ 40 million U.S. dollars Arts strategically integrated public spaces.
Forum Shops at Caesars Palace (next to the Mirage - near Flamingo Road)
The Forum Shops started the entertainment centers of Las Vegas in 1992, as I remember, and still do a fascinating job. The vaulted ceiling is painted sky and constantly changes from night to day and back at a pace so slow that it seems real. There is much to see just walking around the mall. The Forum Shops are a mix of specialty stores, typical mall, and some of the world's most expensive shops. This combination tends to attract movie stars, professional athletes and celebrities from music, making it a prime place to watch people, or just a place to be seen. The specialty shops include stores such as exotic cars braggart with its display of classic cars and luxury motorcycles. And if you've ever wanted to go to Italy to see the Fountain of the Triton or the Trevi Fountain, this is an opportunity to take photos and much less expensive. If fish is your thing, the Atlantis aquarium fish (which is behind the fall of the stage of Atlantis), is a large saltwater aquarium with over 100 different marine species including sharks and puffer fish tropical. Aquarium Tours are available at 3:15 pm Monday through Friday, and you can see divers feed the fish every day about 1 and 17:00 for a nice extra touch, and guides are available to answer questions during meals.
There are also some free entertainment to go along with its window shopping. At the western end of the Forum Shops is the source of Festival, where you can hear a discussion between Apollo, Bacchus, Venus and Pluto - while the accents of laser light show these larger than life animatronic figures. They have the same discussion every hour during the day.
The fall of Atlantis animatronics show is inside the Forum Shops (next to the cheese factory.) King Atlas wants to choose an heir, his children try to destroy each other, a 20-foot flying beast appears, then Atlantis is destroyed by fire and sank in the flood. The monitors have been added for effect, and the kids love this show, so it fills up early with performances every hour from 10 am daily.
Inside Tip: Although you can hear the program while in the dining patio of the Cheesecake Factory, the crowd around interfering with vision. So the show and dinner are best done separately. I choose to dine inside where you can enjoy your company and the meal and then enjoy the show itself when ready.
A small detour at Caesars Palace, and the Tower of Augustus, is located in the Neil Leifer Gallery. Gallery admission is free, and this can only be the bribe needed to maintain the interest of sports enthusiasts in your family. Neil is an award winning photographer who focuses on the history of the sport. His paintings have been used in magazines like Time, People and Sports Illustrated. The opportunity to see images larger than life, as Muhammad Ali standing over Sonny Liston, Secretariat winning the Kentucky Derby, and even President John F. classic Kennedy throw the first pitch in 1961, may be just the thing to win the day.
The Grand Canal Shoppes (at the Venetian - across from the Mirage and Treasure Island)
The Grand Canal Shoppes is listed as "Streetmosphere" with its cobbled streets that meander along a canal and a variety of street performers live. With over 80 boutiques and restaurants, this shopping trip is an experience. Most typical stores, though I think the photo gallery at the main entrance of Venice is fabulous.
Artist Art is done in a few places in the mall throughout the day "around noon to 6 pm You can catch more shows around the Plaza de San Marcos, than anywhere else though. This is a professional group of singers, actors and artists who offer a variety of unique and exciting entertainment.
Living statues made throughout the day in the Plaza de San Marcos and in front of Ann Taylor. These artists are good enough to be confused with the royal statues, and may be a surprise when you move a bit to adjust her attitude about you. They are quite surprising in view.
Gondoliers can be seen in the channel, and put on a show in the beginning and end of each day (9:45 am and 4:15 pm) The Gondolier March is an opportunity for the serenades of the gondoliers as they march by the mall from the food court of Plaza de San Marcos.
And be sure to go to the Plaza de San Marcos at 6 pm or 10 for a free concert. Venice Trio performs an evening of musical elegance for the enjoyment of all. Some guests prefer to eat nearby, making dinner and show.

The Fashion Show Mall (Spring Mt Road -. Just opposite the Wynn)

Freemont Street attracts locals as well as many visitors as the center of the city presents a completely different feel of the strip. So if you're buying, gawk, or enjoy free entertainment, Fremont Street is an experience.
